Frequently asked questions

What is provided with my Road Bike?

Road bike rental includes a saddlebag with tyre levers & spare tube, pump fitted to the bike and souvenir water bottle. Accessories such as helmet, pedals and Garmin are available for hire.

Pedals

Our road bikes do not come with pedals. (we can fit flat pedals for you free of charge if you wish) We have some pedals available for hire (Look, SPD road & SPD offroad) and must be pre-booked. Otherwise we recommend you bring your own pedals.

And a handy tip – don’t leave it until the night before you fly out to try to remove your pedals, depending on how long they have been on your bike, they may be tight to remove!

Saddle / Seat

We highly recommend bringing your own saddle if you intend to do some distances, as your saddle can be a very personal choice (generally they are light weight and small to pack). We will happily fit this for you when we deliver your bike. Otherwise all of our bikes come with the standard factory supplied saddle.

What is provided with my Village Bike?

Village bike rental includes saddlebag with tyre levers and spare tube, pump fitted to the bike and souvenir VéloRoo water bottle.

The bike is fitted with flat pedals. Helmets are available for hire.

A word from our clients

Don’t take our word for it - discover why cycling adventurists have fallen in love with the Occitanie Region of Southern France.

Great time, great bikes, great weather. Avoided the worry of bikes on a plane and had excellent bikes. The caad 12 canondales are really fun and comfortable to ride. All delivered to our door. Thanks for the excellent service. The area is a wonderful place to ride - with such different yet spectacular routes depending on which way you head out. Would highly recommend to anyone - especially the lunch stops!May 2017
Bike hire par excellence. Steve and Julia do a remarkable job. From the very first inquiry throughout the whole month that I rode their bike it has been sensational - the beautiful environs, the impeccable service and care, the tour guiding which introduced me to one new area after the other coupled with super bike tips. This is the best bike hire experience I have ever had and have been doing this annually for seven years now. Vive la VeloRooMay 2017
Good bike and great friendly service
I rented a bike this week from Steve and Julia/ VeloRoo which is my second year doing so. They provide a great service in this region for cyclists including delivery of the bike. It was a good road bike and in great order. The cycling territory here is great. I can recommend VeloRoo highly, and will be back. August 2019
